CHWD is launching a new online application for recruiting Collaborating Experts. This platform allows qualified professionals to apply to join CHWD’s expert roster and contribute to health workforce policy, education, research, and capacity development initiatives in the Eastern Mediterranean Region and globally. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.  

Dr. Elsheikh Badr Highlights Key Contributions at the First Arab Conference on Medical Diaspora's Role in Strengthening Arab Health Systems

Professor Elsheikh Badr, the Executive Director of the Center for Health Workforce Development (CHWD), presented to the First Arab Conference on the role of the Arab Medical Diaspora in supporting health systems in the Arab countries organized by the Arab League in Amman, Jordan, 19-20 October 2024. Prof. Badr reflected on the situation and challenges of health research in the Arab countries and highlighted possible diaspora contributions. He referred to the health workforce migration research initiative to be introduced by the CHWD, capitalizing on the momentum of this conference.
