1- An aggregate of 85% in the grade 12 science stream/ Advanced stream of UAE GSEC of Ministry of Education. Preference in admission will be given to those with high scores in Biology and Chemistry/Physics or EMSAT score whichever is higher. Abu Dhabi Education Council stream students should similarly have 85% aggregate. Preference in admission will be given to those with high scores in Advanced Biology (level 3) and Advanced Chemistry ( level 3) or EMSAT score whichever is higher.
2- Proficiency in English equivalent to a TOEFL score of 500 in paper-based test, 61 in internet based test or 173 in computer-based test OR Academic IELTS score of 5 OR EMSAT Achieve- English score of 1100 – 1225 is required.
1. Direct Admission (Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Pharmaceutics): B.Pharm with minimum CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of 3 on a 4 scale or equivalent. In addition to the above, the mandatory requirement for the English language is 6 in Academic IELTS OR EMSAT English 1400 OR TOEFL 550.
2. Conditional Admission: B.Pharm with GPA of 2.5 can be conditionally admitted such students will take in first semester 9 credits only and should get 3 GPA end of first semester.

Remedial preparation for the graduate programs (MSN – Adult Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, MS – Midwifery & M.S.Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Pharmaceutics): Graduates of BSN & B.Pharm securing less than 3 GPA(a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale) may apply for the Remedial Preparation for MSN (Adult Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing), MS – Midwifery & M.S.Pharmacy – (Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Pharmaceutics programs). The remedial preparation will be 6 months duration and conducted from September to January or February to July. There will be 3 courses of 3 credits each with total of 9 credits in 6 months. Remedial preparation duration will not be counted for the Postgraduate duration.
To progress to the MSN, MSM & M.S. Pharmacy programs, the student must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or its established equivalent, in these 9 credits of remedial preparation in order to progress to the graduate program or to be subject to dismissal from the University.

RAK Medical and Health Sciences University is a comprehensive Health Sciences University established in 2006, owned by the Government of Ras Al Khaimah. The undergraduate and graduate programs in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing are fully accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation under Ministry of Education, UAE. It is the first in UAE to offer two year Masters Programs in Nursing in UAE. There are 1220 students from 50 countries currently enrolled and since 2011, 1475 students have graduated. Through an agreement with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), it uses four Federal Hospitals for the clinical training of its students (Saqr Hospital, Ibrahim Bin Hamad Obaidullah Hospital, Omran Hospital, Fujairah Hospital and the associated Primary Health Centers). RAK College of Medical Sciences is listed in World Directory of Medical School & hence accepted internationally.
Student learning is facilitated by a well-equipped Central Library with satellite centers in the teaching hospitals in addition to the well qualified faculty, free patient treatment and several other facilities.
The main building of RAKMHSU has 200,000 sq. ft. area which houses the College of Medical and the new block has 96,000 sq. ft. dedicated to the colleges of Pharmacy and Nursing. College of Dentistry has its own building, a short distance from the main campus (G + 5 Floors). In addition, RAKMHSU has a well-equipped research facility, multidisciplinary sports Complex, a student center and the Cafeteria and lounge for students.
The state of art University Learning Management system, a robust online assessment system, experienced faculty and IT team helped RAKMHSU to transition to online teaching and assessments with no loss of days in face of the COVID 19 challenge.
