It establishes the academic ranks for faculty members and ensures that parttime /Adjunct faculty members meet the same requirements as full-time faculty members. Additionally, it outlines the contractual terms, encompassing renewal and termination procedures, and imposes limitations on the proportion of part-time faculty members.StatementRAK Medical and Health Sciences University shall afford equal opportunity to all staff and faculties in all its programs and activities without regard for race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disabilities. The faculty is the core of RAK Medical & Health Sciences University; hence much care shall be given to the selection of each faculty member. RAKMHSU is committed to maintaining ethnic diversity and will limit the percentage of any one particular ethnic group to not more than fifty.The University has an open arms policy towards people of determination. Special arrangements shall be made for their comfort and ease as and when they are hired.The service rules for the faculty/staff shall conform with the local Government rules and regulations. RAK Medical and Health Sciences University shall adopt the following pattern of service rules for the faculty.The selection process for new faculty members at RAK Medical and Health Sciences University is based on three key criteria:%u2022Teaching abilities%u2022Research expertise%u2022Involvement in outreach activities, community engagementAdditionally, fluency in the English language is mandatory for all faculty members, regardless of the language of instruction in their respective programs. They should also be well-versed in higher education's credit hour system and capable of effectively engaging with students from diverse backgrounds.Furthermore, proficiency in computer usage for teaching and research purposes is a requirement for all faculty members. They should also be familiar with academic advising and be capable of contributing to developing courses and curricula.
