346.1.5 Crisis Intervention AssistanceThe Counseling Center provides crisis intervention assistance to the students who are experiencing crises which affect their ability to function in the community.6.1.6 Booking an AppointmentStudents can schedule a counseling appointment via the Student Portal, university email, or by visiting the Counseling Office in person. All sessions are confidential and tailored to support students%u2019 academic, emotional, or social concerns.6.1.7 Online Counseling SessionsTo ensure flexibility and inclusivity, the Counseling Department provides online sessions through secure platforms (e.g., MS Teams or Zoom). These sessions follow the same confidentiality and ethical standards as in-person meetings.6.1.8 Self-Initiated Walk-In SupportStudents may access self-initiated (walk-in) sessions during designated hours without prior booking. This service offers prompt psychological assistance, guidance, or emotional containment when immediate support is needed.6.1.9 Smart Counseling Services (Digital & Self-Guided Support)The Counseling Service is committed to innovation through Smart Services that provide digital, accessible, and student-centered support.These include self-assessment tools, smart scheduling systems, and AI-assisted recommendations available through iPads or secure online platforms.Smart services empower students to monitor their emotional wellbeing and access timely support independently and confidentially.
