The IEQAA Deanship is using benchmarking as a tool for continuous improvement driven by evaluation in comparison with a common reference point. It involves organizational learning in partnership which provides an incentive for better results. Benchmarking enables the structured sharing of ideas and good practices on institutional strengths and weaknesses. Information on institutional current performance and the quality of the internationalization process is turned into new opportunities for strategic institutional developments. At the university level, RAKMHSU utilized internal and CHEDS data to benchmark its undergraduate programs against Gulf Medical University and Ajman University. At the program level, RAKMHSU's participation in the Higher Education Benchmarking Consortium (HEBC) highlighted its success in delivering a diverse and comprehensive educational experience.
