The Institutional Effectiveness, Quality Assurance and Accreditation (IEQAA) Deanship at RAKMHSU plays a critical role in strategic planning by ensuring institutional effectiveness, policy development, and compliance with accreditation standards. The IEQAA role in the university strategic planning is composed of the following:

  • Strategic Planning Support: IEQAA helps in preparing and evaluating both long-term and short-term strategic plans, ensuring they align with institutional goals and budgetary considerations.
  • Quality Assurance & Accreditation: The Deanship oversees accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with national and international standards while monitoring institutional effectiveness.
  • Policy Development & Implementation: IEQAA develops, reviews, and updates university policies, ensuring they are effective and legally compliant.
  • Performance Monitoring: It identifies key performance indicators (KPIs) for colleges and departments, tracks their achievement, and prepares annual progress reports.
  • Institutional Research & Decision-Making: IEQAA conducts institutional research, compiles data for reporting and provides analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement: The Deanship reviews stakeholder feedback, prepares action plans for improvement, and promotes a culture of quality assurance through workshops and communication.
