The IEQAA Portal is maintained by the Institutional Effectiveness, Quality Assurance and Accreditation (IEQAA) Team in order to monitor RAKMHSU KPI's status and achievement as per the MOHESR Outcome-Based Framework.  

Quality Assurance, Policy and Strategic Planning Committee (QAPSPC)

Membership:

  • Chairperson: The President of the University
  • Co-chairperson: The Dean of the IEQAA Deanship
  • Secretary: Head of the SPD / QAA (serving as the member secretaries)

Members:

  • Vice President of Academic Affairs
  • Vice President of Research & PG Studies
  • Dean of each College
  • Head of CHWD
  • Dean of Student Affairs
  • Special invitees as necessary
  • Sub-committees will represent individual colleges and departments for specialized tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities of the Committee


  • Quality Assurance & Accreditation: Support and advise the Institutional Effectiveness, Quality Assurance & Accreditation (IEQAA) Deanship, ensuring a consistent flow of information about quality assurance findings.
  • Strategic Planning: Oversee the university’s strategic planning process, providing guidance and feedback on mission alignment, goal setting, and the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for colleges and departments.
  • Policy Development: Develop, review, and update university policies, ensuring their effectiveness and legal compliance. Coordinate efforts to implement policies across departments.
  • Communication & Workshops: Promote a culture of quality assurance and strategic planning through communication and workshops for faculty and staff to ensure knowledge and compliance.
  • Reporting & Monitoring: Issue an annual quality assurance report and a biennial strategic status report to the university council and the Board of Trustees, ensuring the effectiveness of university processes and policies.
  • Compliance & Improvement: Monitor adherence to university policies and quality assurance practices, identify areas for improvement, and ensure policies are aligned with the university’s goals and regional guidelines.
