A university built around medicine and the health sciences

RAK Medical & Health Sciences University brings Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing onto one campus in Ras Al Khaimah, so that future clinicians learn to work the way they will practise — together. The university is accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education and educates more than 1,700 students from over 60 nationalities.

In 2025 the university climbed from 75th to 56th in the Arab University Ranking, and earned a first-ever placement in the THE Arab University Rankings 2026 — recognition that reflects a research output of more than 1,600 Scopus-indexed publications and a 96% student retention rate.
