Dental Education Built on Practice & Care
RAK College of Dental Sciences (RAKCODS) has been educating dental professionals since 2007, offering a comprehensive five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program. The program is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), UAE, and the Australian Dental Council International (ADCI), while the College’s clinical training is recognized by Accreditation Canada at the Diamond level—reflecting RAKCODS’ commitment to academic quality, patient safety, and clinical excellence.
The curriculum evolves in line with advances in dental science and emerging technologies, combining a strong foundation in basic sciences and preclinical education with extensive hands-on clinical training, innovation, and research. Students gain practical experience within RAKCODS’ own purpose-built facilities, including modern simulation laboratories and fully equipped dental clinics.
A strong culture of community service provides students with valuable experience in delivering high-quality dental care to patients of diverse nationalities, helping develop confident, ethical, and patient-centered professionals.
Graduates are prepared to pursue opportunities in general dental practice, community and hospital-based dental services, academic and research environments, and postgraduate education, subject to applicable professional and licensing requirements.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to RAK College of Dental Sciences (RAKCODS), an academic community committed to excellence in dental education, clinical training, research, innovation, and community service.
Our commitment to quality is reflected in our national and international accreditation and recognition, including the University’s Five-Star QS Stars rating, Accreditation Canada (Diamond Standard), the Australian Dental Council International, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), UAE. These recognitions affirm our dedication to academic quality, patient safety, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement.
RAKCODS offers comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate dental education. Our five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program integrates foundational sciences, preclinical education, and progressive clinical training to prepare competent, ethical, compassionate, and patient-centered dental professionals.
Our postgraduate portfolio includes the Master of Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics, Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics, and Master of Clinical Periodontology and Implantology, providing advanced clinical training, specialized expertise, and opportunities for research and evidence-informed practice.
