Medical Education Built on Integration & Practice
RAK College of Medical Sciences (RAKCOMS) is the founding college of RAKMHSU, dedicated to preparing competent, compassionate medical professionals. Our education model brings together an integrated, modular curriculum and hands-on clinical practice, so students connect applied basic sciences with real patient care from early in their studies.
Across its programs, students learn through structured pre-medical, preclinical and clinical stages, gaining supervised clinical experience in ministry hospitals and health centres. RAK College of Medical Sciences (RAKCOMS), the flagship college of RAK Medical and Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU), has been a leader in medical education since 2006. Our fully accredited Doctor of Medicine [MD 6 years] Program is recognized by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research (MOHESR) and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
With world-class facilities, modern laboratories, advanced simulation centres and smart classrooms, RAKCOMS provides a dynamic learning environment that prepares future physicians for the demands of modern healthcare. Our outcome-based, competency-driven curriculum is delivered by more than 120 distinguished faculty members from 17 nationalities, with early clinical exposure and structured clerkships in federal hospitals.
