Master of Science in Medical Physiology(MSMP)

RAK College of Medical Sciences offers a Master’s Degree in Medical Physiology.

Direct Admission:
  1. Students with bachelor's degree in Medicine (MBBS/MD/MBCHB), or Dentistry (BDS) with minimum CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of 3 on a 4 scale or equivalent.
  2. Proficiency in English is required.
Conditional Admissions (for students who hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree):
  1. Conditional admission to the program is available for students who hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent. During the conditional admission period, the student must complete a maximum of nine credit hours in graduate program courses and attain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or its established equivalent, in these nine credits. Failure to meet this requirement may result in dismissal from the program
  2. Remedial Preparation for the Graduate Program (MSc Medical Physiology): Students may be admitted to the program with a recognized Bachelor’s degree and a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or its established equivalent, to undertake up to nine graduate-level credit hours as remedial preparation for the graduate program. These remedial courses do not contribute credit towards the degree program. To progress to the graduate program, the student must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or its established equivalent, in these nine credits of remedial courses. Failure to meet this requirement may result in dismissal from the program. The maximum period for completion of this remedial program is six months.

Prospective students may fill in the online application form and attach all relevant documents, and the fully qualified applicants will receive an offer letter with a deadline for payment remittance.

  • The decision of the Admission Committee in the matters of admission is final.
  • The jurisdiction regarding all legal matters in admission-related matters will be at Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.


Fee Structure


The tuition fee structure for the MSMP program is organized by credit hours. Each semester consists of 10 credit hours. In the first year (20 credit hours), the fee is 40,000 AED per semester, totaling 80,000 AED. In the second year (10 credit hours), the fee is 40,000 AED, bringing the total program tuition cost to 120,000 AED per student. Additional minor fees for registration, examinations, and dissertation are detailed in the annexure.
