Academic Calendar 2026-2027
Every week of the academic year for all programs — when teaching starts, the add/drop and withdrawal deadlines, midterm and final examinations, breaks and public holidays, and the University's ceremonies and events. The Fall semester runs from August to December, the Spring semester from January to May, and a Summer semester follows for BDS Year 4.

Notes from the Office of the Registrar
- Holidays for Eid Al Fitr will be from 29 Ramadan to 3 Shawwal (tentatively corresponding to 9–12 March 2027), and for Arafah Day and Eid Al Adha from 9 to 12 Thu Al Hijjah (tentatively corresponding to 15–18 May 2027). Islamic holidays are tentative and subject to change based on moon sighting.
- The University may extend semesters or academic periods to compensate for lost teaching days resulting from unscheduled closings, holidays, or future directives from the Ministry of Education. The University might also schedule Saturday classes, with prior notice, to cover teaching weeks.
- End Semester / Year Examinations may be scheduled giving at least a day's break, but not for Continuous Assessments / Repeat exams; examinations can also be planned on Saturdays / Holidays.
- Provisionally, Remedial 1 / Repeat 1 Examinations (Spring Semester) will be held in June / July 2027.
