The Department of General Surgery and Anesthesia at RAK Medical & Health Sciences University organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign during October, emphasizing the importance of early detection, prevention, and community health education.
The campaign was inaugurated with an engaging opening ceremony attended by Faculty and Year 5 MD students, whose enthusiastic participation created a vibrant and interactive atmosphere. Educational presentations, awareness leaflets, and discussions highlighted breast cancer risk factors, warning signs, and the importance of timely medical consultation and screening.
