Dr. Tarun Wadhwa, Chairperson In-charge, Department of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacology, RAK College of Pharmacy, RAKMHSU, was invited as a guest speaker at the KAIZEN Workshop on “Medication Reconciliation” organized by RAK College of Dental Sciences on Tuesday, 20 October 2026.
The session emphasized the critical role of medication reconciliation in preventing medication discrepancies, enhancing medication safety, and ensuring continuity of safe and effective patient care during transitions of care.
An important aspect of the session was the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology with medication reconciliation software, highlighting its potential to improve productivity, streamline workflows, support the identification of medication discrepancies, and enhance the efficiency of medication reconciliation practices.
