Professional Biography

Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Elsayed is an Assistant Professor of Endodontics with over 13 years of experience in undergraduate dental education, clinical training, curriculum development and academic research. His academic and clinical expertise covers endodontics, root canal treatment, rotary instrumentation, endodontic retreatment, dental education and dental biomaterials. His research focuses on contemporary endodontic materials and techniques, root canal disinfection and irrigation, calcium silicate-based materials, endodontic sealers, CBCT-based assessment of root canal anatomy, and the evaluation of clinical education and student performance. His recent research has also expanded into antibiotic prescribing in endodontics and the use of artificial intelligence in dental education, and he is actively engaged in multidisciplinary and international research collaborations.
