Sustainability Training

Training & Capacity Building

Sustainability Training

RAKMHSU has implemented a series of structured Sustainability Training Sessions aimed at enhancing sustainability awareness and engagement across faculty, staff, and students. These sessions form part of the University’s commitment to embedding sustainability within institutional culture, education, and operational practices in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The training was delivered through a combination of interactive, participatory workshops and an online student session, integrating conceptual learning with practical engagement. Sessions included discussions on sustainability principles, SDGs, climate change, and their relevance to health sciences education, alongside collaborative activities and structured surveys to capture stakeholder perspectives.

These sessions collectively contributed to building a shared understanding of sustainability priorities and strengthening institutional readiness for sustainability integration. For more details, view the Annual Sustainability Report.
