RAKMHSU implements a structured Sustainability Literacy Assessment to evaluate the knowledge, awareness, and application of sustainability concepts among students, faculty, and staff. This initiative reflects the University's commitment to embedding sustainability across education, research, and institutional practices in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The assessment is based on a standardized tool comprising 15 structured questions, designed to measure sustainability literacy across three core themes: Core Sustainability Knowledge, Environmental & Resource Practices, and Social Sustainability & SDG Application. These themes provide a balanced evaluation of conceptual understanding, practical awareness, and the ability to apply sustainability principles in real-world contexts.
