  • 1. RAKMHSU Science Exhibition & Community Outreach

    Event: RAKMHSU Science Exhibition 2026

    Date: Tuesday and Wednesday, January 28–29, 2026, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (approximate, based on academic outreach cycle)

    Type of Learning: Community-based learning · Experiential learning · Public engagement

    Activities: Interaction with Grade 12 students · Demonstration of healthcare practices · Lab exposure sessions

  • 2. The 1st Conference of Climate Change and Health in the Arab Region (CCHAR): Advancing Regional Interdisciplinary Collaborations

    Dates: 7–8 July 2025

    Location: Amman, Jordan

    Format: Hybrid (both in-person and virtual participation)

    The conference was organized as a regional interdisciplinary platform bringing together researchers, public health experts, and policymakers to address the health impacts of climate change in the Arab region. It was also held in conjunction with the ICE-MENA conference events in Amman, enhancing regional collaboration and participation.

  • 3. The 10th International Conference on Ethics in the Middle East and North Africa Region (ICE-MENA): Climate, Environmental Justice, and Health Equity

    Date: 6 July 2025

    Location: InterContinental Hotel, Amman, Jordan

    Format: In-person (held jointly with a regional conference series; shared venue and registration with CCHAR)

    The conference focused on ethical challenges related to climate change, environmental justice, and health equity in the MENA region. It brought together academics, researchers, and policymakers to discuss issues such as environmental risks, vulnerable populations, and ethical responsibilities in public health and research.

    The 15th RAKMHSU Career Fair 2025, held on 5th November 2025, concluded with remarkable engagement and professional collaboration. We extend our deepest thanks to all participants, partners, and exhibitors for their support. The event highlights showcase our collective dedication to fostering future leaders.

  • 5. CPD-Accredited Hands-on Research Workshop

    Program Title: Hands-on Training in Laboratory Animal Handling & Experimental Techniques

    Dates: October 2024 (3-day program)

    Organizers: Central Animal Research Facility (CARF) · Translational Medical Research Centre (TMRC) · SIDC collaboration

    Type of Learning: Case-based learning · Experiential / hands-on training · Competency-based learning

    Key Features: CPD accredited (8.5 hours – Emirates Health Services); Hybrid format — Day 1: Online lectures; Days 2–3: On-campus practical training

    Case-Based Components: Animal handling simulations · Drug administration techniques · PCR and tissue processing · Real research scenario applications
