Role in TMRC: Provides visionary leadership, strategic direction, and administrative oversight for TMRC, ensuring its development as a state-of-the-art, interdisciplinary translational research centre. Leads infrastructure planning, research governance, and the establishment of collaborative and CRO-aligned research models with academic, clinical, and industry partners across the UAE and beyond.

Drives innovation through advanced research infrastructure (SDG 9) and fosters global research collaborations and CRO-based projects (SDG 17). Mentors undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students and faculty in experimental design, advanced techniques, and scientific publication.

Contribution to Teaching & Training

Integrates research-driven education into undergraduate and postgraduate curricula, providing hands-on training in advanced biomedical technologies and promoting future-ready healthcare professionals (SDG 4). Conducts workshops, faculty development programs, and capacity-building initiatives while promoting ethical, sustainable research practices including in vitro approaches (SDG 12, SDG 13).

Role in TMRC: Serves as the core technical resource for cell culture and molecular biology research at TMRC, supporting the execution and coordination of multidisciplinary experimental projects across health sciences disciplines. Provides project-specific laboratory support aligned with translational research requirements and ensures smooth day-to-day laboratory operations.

Role in TMRC: While primarily affiliated with Biochemistry at RAKCOMS, Ms. Sheela contributes full-time to TMRC research activities, providing specialized technical expertise in biochemistry, immunology, molecular biology, and next-generation sequencing (NGS). Supports multidisciplinary experimental research projects across health sciences disciplines, including collaborative and CRO-based projects for universities and industries across UAE and beyond.

Role in TMRC: Primarily affiliated with Microbiology at RAKCOMS, Mr. Michael contributes full-time to TMRC research projects, providing expertise in microbiology, molecular biology, and histopathology. Supports multidisciplinary experimental research across health sciences disciplines, including collaborative and CRO-based studies for universities and industries across UAE and beyond.
