RAKMHSU offers Doctor of Medicine (MD) since September 2006 and Bachelor of Dental Sciences (BDS), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm), Bachelor of Nursing (BSc Nursing) since September 2007. The 2 year bridge program in nursing (RN-BSN) was started in September 2008 to enable the diploma holders to upgrade to Bachelor Degree in Nursing. Master of Science in Nursing, M.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and M.S. in Pharmacy Practice commenced in 2011&12 respectively. All programs are accredited by the Ministry of Education, UAE.

Application of candidates fulfilling all requirements will be processed as soon as the 12th transcript & English language requirements score are received and applicant will be informed of the admission status at the earliest. Yes. However, the application will be considered for admission only after submitting the mark sheet of the 12th grade/ qualifying examination and TOEFL / IELTS score card within the dates mentioned in the Admission Schedule.

There are two semesters in an academic year and the fees are collected semester-wise. The entire tuition fee per semester should be paid before the beginning of each semester as per the payment schedule indicated by the University from time to time.
The first semester tuition fee and other fees mentioned in the admission bulletin have to be paid as per the communication received after the admission is confirmed as per the date given in admission offer.
The details regarding the fee remittance will be mentioned clearly in the offer letter issued to the students.
1) MD Program
20% concession in the tuition fee is provided for all students securing above 95% in overall aggregate in 12th grade/UAE GSCE /equivalent. This concession is limited to the first year only.
2) B.Pharm Program 20% concession in the tuition fee is provided for all students securing above 95% in overall aggregate in 12th grade/UAE GSCE /equivalent. This concession is limited to the first semester only.
15% concession in the tuition fee is provided for all students securing above 90% in overall aggregate in 12th grade/ UAE GSCE /equivalent. This concession is limited to the first semester only.
Subsequently, for MD & B.Pharm programs, a student who secures annual Grade Point Average of 3.8 or above on a 4.0 scale in the year end exams and studied all courses without any exemptions, will be entitled for a 15% concession in the tuition fee for the following year. For B.Pharm the continuity of fee concession each semester will be based on securing GPA 3.8 or above at the end of previous semester.
Merit scholarship does not apply for transfer students who enrolled for few courses.
In the case of BSN/RNBSN and Master Programs, the University has already given a maximum discount against the declared fee in the Admission Brochure, therefore no other discounts including merit scholarships will be given to any student.

Yes, Gymnasium and sports facilities for certain indoor games like table-tennis, chess are provided. Outdoor sports facilities are also made available. Cultural activities and other activities such as quizzes, debates, Scientific Conferences, CME’s, Career Development sessions and other important celebrations including National Day Celebrations etc are also arranged.

Yes, the University provides student visas as per the UAE Immigration rules and regulations. Admission of International Students will depend on the student visa being granted as per UAE Immigration rules and regulations. UAE Nationals:
Upon the successful completion of 12 months of rotational internship training, Emirati students are eligible to get job placements in UAE health sector and need not appear for MOH licensing exam.
Expatriate Students:
Upon the successful completion of 12 months of rotational internship training, expatriate students can directly appear for the UAE Ministry of Health licensing examination.
Of course yes, however after fulfilling the respective country’s Ministry of Health prerequisites.
The transfer student should first check with the admissions office regarding seat availability. Depending on seat availability, Dean (Exam) & Dean of respective college will assess the eligibility of a transfer student after evaluation of curriculum & transcripts as per the transfer policy of the University.
