NOTE Fees are for the academic year 2024-2025 payable at the beginning of each semester. There are 2 semesters in an academic year, from September to January & February to June.

Health Insurance card is mandatory for all students. RN-BSN Students should have a valid health insurance card from the Government or should be adequately covered under a health insurance by the current employer.

Students will be required to buy on their own the instruments, personal protective gear including uniforms, masks, gloves, books etc. as per each program requirement.

Mode of Payment: Fees can be remitted directly at our Finance Department at RAKMHSU by cash/cheque/Debit/Credit Card (No transaction fee) or through electronic transfer to RAK MHSU bank account as shown below:

Only the Net Amount Credited into bank account will be considered. For Telex Transfers, AED 75 is to be added with the total fee towards bank clearance charges. After FINAL 12th grade result are declared, students have to pay all the required fees of the 1st semester as mentioned in their offer letter.

Refund request can be made by the student and the below Refund timeline will be applicable of All the fees for the following programs (MD, BDS, B.Pharm, BSN, RN-BSN, MSN & MS Pharmacy)

Note:

  1. Admission & Application fee once paid are non-refundable.
  2. *Seat Reservation fee (a part of tuition fee which is to reserve the seat). After Seat Reservation fee payment, In case if the student does not eligible as per the Admission Criteria in the final 12th grade/IB/AS/A level result, only 50% of the amount from the Seat Reservation fee will be refunded. This is applicable to MD & BDS programs.
  3. Refer the above Refund timeline for the Tuition fee refund.
  4. **Other fees includes (Exam fee, lab & library fee, Health Insurance fee, Transportation fee, Visa fee, Visa security deposit fee, Uniform fee and Annual SNF membership fee) once paid are refundable in case of withdrawal.
  5. In case of student visa rejected by the UAE Immigration dept, an amount of AED 500/- will be deducted from the visa fee and the balance fee will be refunded to the student and the visa security deposit fee will also be refunded to the student.
Refund of Transport Fee:

Students who decide not to avail the bus facility within two weeks from the date of commencement of classes will be refunded 50% of the transport fee. Beyond 2 weeks, the total fee paid is non-refundable.

The refund policy applies to all subsequent semesters.

Merit Scholarship / Fee Concession

1) Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program
20% concession in the tuition fee is provided for all students securing above 95% in overall aggregate in 12th grade/UAE GSCE /equivalent. This concession is limited to the first year only.

2) B.Pharm Program
The University has already given a maximum discount against the declared tuition fee, therefore no merit scholarship will be given during Year 1.

3) BSN Program
No merit scholarship will be given during Year 1.

Merit Scholarship from Year 2 onwards for MD / B.Pharm / BSN program:

A student who secures annual Grade Point Average of 3.8 or above on a 4.0 scale in the year end exams and studied all courses without any exemptions, will be entitled for a 15% concession in the tuition fee for the following year. Merit Scholarships will be given based on annual GPA and not on a semester GPA.

Merit scholarship does not apply for transfer students who enrolled for few courses.

In the case of Master Programs, the University has already given a maximum discount against the declared fee in the Admission Brochure, therefore no other discounts including merit scholarships will be given to any student.

Fresh batch students will be allowed to pay the fee in two installments. In order to complete the registration process, a post-dated cheque for the second installment has to be mandatorily submitted along with the first installment.
