With the constant support of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Tanani, Vice President – Research & PG Studies and Acting Dean, RAKCOP & Dr Omer Eladil A. H. Mohammed, Deputy Director, CEDAR and guidance of Dr. Sathvik B. Sridhar, Prof. & Chairperson, Dept. of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacology, RAKCOP, a demonstration session on use of fidelity mannequin for clinical pharmacy & pharmacology related courses was organized by Dr. Tarun Wadhwa, Associate Professor & Dr. Javedh Shareef, Asst. Professor on Friday, 8th Dec. 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at Nursing Skills Lab, RAKMHSU.

Mr. Feras, a representative from Gaumard had kindly agreed to deliver demonstration session for the faculty on specified date. All the faculty from the Dept. of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacology attended and participated effectively in the session. 

With the idea of including the case-based learning sessions in pharmacy curriculum, this demonstration session was organized. In the session, faculty members added value by giving their inputs and performing hands-on-activity to make it an effective session. 

All the faculty members enjoyed the session and in fact they added their fruitful inputs during the discussion. 

We would like to extend our appreciation to Mr. Feras, Gaumard, Dubai, Dr. Shukri Yousef Adam, Associate Prof. & Asst. Dean- Clinicals, RAKCON and Ms. Jocelyn Huerte Nazi, Sr. Lab Technician, Nursing skills lab for providing us the facility for demonstration of fidelity mannequin.
