RAKMHSU welcomed Prof. Nathir Obeidat, President of the University of Jordan (UJ), and Prof. Khalid El Salem, President of Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), on February 28th, 2024. The visit aimed to enhance collaborative research and explore innovative opportunities between the institutions.

Prof. Faleh Sawair, Vice President of UJ, and Prof. Basheer Khasawneh, Dean of Medicine at JUST, also participated in this visit.

During the visit, Prof. Ismail I. A. Matalka, President of RAKMHSU, accompanied the esteemed guests on a campus tour. They observed facilities, held discussions with faculty members, Vice Presidents, and Deans, fostering mutual understanding and knowledge exchange.

The visit concluded with the signing of an MoU between RAKMHSU, the University of Jordan, and JUST. This agreement signifies a shared commitment to cooperation and collaboration.

RAKMHSU values partnerships with academic institutions like the University of Jordan and JUST as leading universities in the region and internationally in medical and health education. The visit paves the way for future joint initiatives in research and innovation, faculty exchange and development, and student mobility.
