Exciting collaboration between RAKMHSU and University of Palermo, Italy!

RAK Medical and Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU) and the University of Palermo in Italy have signed today 6th June 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a partnership focused on faculty and student exchange, joint research, and collaborative and joined academic programs. The MoU was signed by Professor Ismail Matalka, President of RAKMHSU, and Professor Massimo Midiri, Rector of the University of Palermo. The signing ceremony was attended virtually by His Excellency Mr. Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the UAE, as well as vice presidents of RAKMHSU and vice rectors of Palermo University. This exciting new collaboration will enable students and faculty from both institutions to benefit from cross-cultural learning experiences, joint research projects, attracting international grants and the potential to dual joint degrees and microcredentials. A great step forward in strengthening academic ties between the UAE and Italy!
