On January 28, Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom to foster academic and research collaboration and facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two institutions. The MoU also includes cooperation in training and consultancy between the Center for Health Workforce Development at Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University and its counterpart centers and units at the University of Leeds.
A delegation, led by Professor Ismail Matalka, President of the University, and Professor Elsheikh Badr, Executive Director of the Health Workforce Development Center, engaged in meetings with faculties, institutes, and specialized centers at the University of Leeds to establish arrangements for launching joint collaboration programs between the two universities in line with the MOU.
