RAS AL KHAIMAH, UAE - Saturday January 31st 2026 - The RAK College of Nursing (RAKCON) officially inaugurated the second intake of its esteemed Post Graduate Diploma programs for the 2026 academic year with a detailed orientation day designed to integrate new students into the college's academic and professional community.

The orientation session served as a foundational launchpad for the incoming postgraduate scholars, providing essential resources and introducing them to the college's support systems. The program emphasized RAKCON's commitment to developing specialized nursing professionals equipped to meet the evolving demands of the healthcare sector.

The event featured a structured agenda keynoted by the Dean of RAKCON, Professor Ibrahim Al Faouri. In his address, Professor Al Faouri extended a formal welcome to the new cohort, outlining the college's vision for excellence in postgraduate nursing education. "We are proud to welcome this new group of dedicated professionals to RAKCON. • The IT Department facilitated setup and training on the college's digital learning platforms, e-portal, and other technological tools essential for coursework and communication.
• The Admissions and Registration team was on hand to assist with finalizing enrolment procedures.
• The Assessment department  outlined all the assessment policies and practices in RAKMHSU.
• The Student Affairs deanship outlined the comprehensive range of support services available, underscoring RAKCON's holistic approach to student well-being and professional development.

This orientation underscores RAKCON's role as a premier institution in nursing education within the UAE and the wider region, dedicated to advancing healthcare and a clearer understanding of their vital role in answering the global call to action for nursing.
