Research Themes

Six areas where RAKMHSU holds concentrated, evidenced research strength across its five colleges. Each theme page names its lead, its researchers, its methods, its partners, its recent publications and the doctoral projects currently open.

How these themes were derived

The six themes were derived by clustering the faculty's Scopus records by subject area and looking for concentrations of three or more productive researchers with recent output. Theme definition is a decision for the Research Committee and the Deans; the themes are published here as the structure of the University's research while that review proceeds.

Subject areas

Where the publications fall

Measured from the University's Scopus-indexed publications rather than declared. Scopus classifies every journal into subject areas; a University document counts once in each area of its journal. 1,827 documents, all years.
