RAKCOMS Front line Volunteers Research Presentation on COVID-19


Dear All,

I am very pleased to share with you the presentation of a team of RAKCOMS graduates of their study on "Limitations of donor recruitment for convalescent plasma therapy (CPT) as a potential management for SARS COV2".

The authors are Dr. Warsha Korani (Intern), Dr. Shaista Khadim (Intern) and Dr. Mir Inzamam (2020 graduate). The authors worked as frontline volunteers during the COVID-19 Pandemic and successfully shared their 2-months experience with Plasma Donation. The presentation was uploaded on the Mayo Clinic page for the "Convescent plasma Covid 19 livestream" held on 1st August 2020.
