We are hiring | Assistant Professor/Lecturer – Internal Medicine (Core Clinical Faculty)

Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

Minimum Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

• MBBS/MBBCh.
• M.Sc. /M.S. (Medical qualification only)
• Terminal qualification in internal medicine like- Ph.D./MD/Arab Board/American Board/Royal College/ any equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of the respective country.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of post-terminal degree teaching experience in undergraduate clinical education at a recognized/ accredited medical college.
• Excellent communication skill in English (teaching medium is English).
• Strong record of research and scholarly activity, including recent publications in indexed journals.
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensure (MOHAP / EHS / DHA).
• Knowledge of medical education principles will be an added advantage
• Experience in:

-Assessment Development

-OSCEs

-Active Learning Methodologies 

• BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
• High professional integrity, emotional quotient, excellent interpersonal skills and physical fitness.

Additional opportunity

Subject to Ministry of Health and Prevention, Government of UAE’s approval, faculty members may also have the opportunity to work in Government hospitals in Ras Al Khaimah and to other emirates in UAE.
