RAK Medical & Health Sciences University was established in 2006 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah with the vision to be the leading Medical and Health Sciences University in the UAE.

The university is dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence and committed to preparing graduates with critical skills to join the medical and healthcare fields in the 21st century.

RAKMHSU has four constituent colleges:

• RAK College of Medical Sciences
• RAK College of Dental Sciences
• RAK College of Pharmaceutical Sciences
• RAK College of Nursing

• RN-BSN Bridge Programme (for working nurses holding Diploma to upgrade to BSN)
• Master of Science in Nursing - four Specialties - Adult Health Nursing, Psychiatric - Mental Health Nursing, Paediatric Nursing and Community Health Nursing.
