Launch of Internal Medicine Bulletin to Showcase Departmental Excellence RAK Medical and Health Sciences University is First Medical University in the UAE to Obtain Five Stars in QS Stars Rating College of Pharmacy at RAK Medical and Health Sciences University has obtained dual national and international accreditation for its Bachelor of Pharmacy program from the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) All Programs are accredited by Ministry of Education, UAE. All our programs are recognized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Tanani, Vice President – Research & Post-Graduate Studies and Acting Dean – RAK College of Pharmacy and Dr Javedh Shareef, Associate Professor, RAK College of Pharmacy has attended a one-day CAA Research and Innovation Seminar held on 24 October 2024 at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi organized by CAA aimed at promoting research and innovation (R&I) in UAE higher education institutions. The seminar covered various topics, including fostering a research culture in universities, perspectives on university R&D in the UAE, new supplementary guidelines on research and innovation, and an introduction to the UAE Research Map. Additionally, challenges and initiatives related to patent filing in the UAE were discussed, highlighting efforts to enhance the research landscape and support innovation in the region.
