The Office of Students Affairs and the Student Council are organizing the PINK OCTOBER event on 16th October 2025 from 11.00am to 5.00 pm at the Sports Complex. The event is to create awareness about Breast Cancer  and the importance of early screening in women.

The activities  include the following:

Presentation and demonstration of breast self- examination for grade 11&12 female school students (from 9.30-11.30 am at the Clinical Skills Lab)

Fund-raising activities: Pink Steps Challenge (to start on Friday 17th Oct till Sunday 19th Oct 2025) and other activities (e.g. bake sale, Henna, face paint, games etc..).The funds generated will be donated to Breast Cancer  and other cancer patients, through UAE Red Crescent or Emirates Cancer Society-RAK Branch.

 Art competition.

Skit: A Woman’s Journey: From detection → diagnosis → treatment → remission.

Quiz& Myth Busting Interactive session

Intercollege exhibition: including models, art pieces, enactments, videos, photographs etc

Music & Dance Club themed performances.

Registered students for the different categories are requested to submit the art work/ posters/models etc on Wednesday 15th Oct to be displayed and judged on 16th Oct at the Sports Complex. The best entries for each category will be awarded.
