Learning Together. Advancing Care Together.

Interprofessional Education brings students across health professions together to learn, collaborate, and develop the competencies needed for safe, effective, and patient-centered healthcare.

About

Interprofessional Education (IPE) brings students from different health professions together to learn with, from, and about one another, developing the competencies required for effective collaborative practice.

At RAKMHSU, IPE is integrated across the undergraduate curricula of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing and aligned with relevant learning outcomes. Through simulation, case-based learning, clinical scenarios, workshops, and reflective practice, students strengthen communication, teamwork, role understanding, shared decision-making, and professionalism.

By connecting learning across disciplines, IPE prepares students for collaborative healthcare practice and contributes to patient safety, coordinated care, and patient-centered healthcare.
