Semester 1

Note: Early clinical exposure at a selected hospital / GP clinic followed by an assignment report will comprise the practical credit for Digital Health Innovation and Sustainability in Medicine (MDS 103).

Semester 2

Note: GCP Certification must be obtained during the Research Methodology-2 (MRM 222) course. It carries 0.5 practical credits.

Semester 3

Note: GCP Certification mandatory.

Note: Mock for Readiness for Practice Assessment will be conducted during MD Year 5.

Semester 7

Semester 8

Notes:

1. For Clinical Courses – the first semester will be simulated training at the university, the second semester will involve clinical clerkships at the training hospitals.
2. IFOM Basic Sciences will be conducted at the end of Semester 7.
3. The IFOM Score will contribute to 10% of the Theory Component of selected courses; this will average to 5% of the total module score.

Semesters 9 & 10 (Year-long courses)

Note: Mock for Readiness for Practice Assessment will be conducted during MD Year 5.

Semesters 11 & 12 (Year-long courses)

Notes:

1. Readiness for Practice Assessment will be conducted during the final semester of MD Year 6.
2. Mandatory clinical electives of total 4 weeks duration to be completed between Semesters 8-12.
3. IFOM Clinical Sciences will be conducted during these semesters – 10% of theory marks will be based on IFOM Score.
4. MD students need to have at least 2 Micro-credential courses before graduation.
