Applying to RAKMHSU from East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania)

School and university certificates usually have to be authenticated ("attested") through an official chain before enrolment.

Every case differs — admissions confirms exactly what you need. Call +971 50 487 5530.

Step by step

Your document & attestation route

1
Authenticate at home first
Have your secondary certificate (KCSE / UACE+UCE / ACSEE+CSEE or equivalent) and any degree authenticated by the national education authority, then your Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2
UAE Embassy that serves your country
Take the MoFA-stamped documents to the UAE embassy/consulate serving your country (the UAE has an embassy in Nairobi; Uganda/Tanzania applicants should confirm the accredited mission).
3
Final UAE MOFAIC attestation
After the embassy stamp, documents receive a final UAE MoFAIC attestation, typically arranged in the UAE or via approved channels.
4
Equivalency for your qualification
Your secondary (and sometimes prior higher-education) qualification usually needs a UAE Ministry of Education equivalency. Ask whether RAKMHSU arranges this or you apply directly.
Documents to prepare
Secondary certificate & full marksheets (KCSE / UACE / ACSEE or equivalent)
Prior degree/diploma & transcript (graduate/transfer)
Valid international passport
Passport-size photographs
Attestation stamps (home authority, home MoFA, UAE embassy, UAE MoFAIC)
UAE MoE equivalency certificate
Language

Most certificates are in English, so translation is usually only needed for other-language documents (e.g. Kiswahili) or where an Arabic legal translation is specifically requested.
