Applying to RAKMHSU from GCC (Oman, Saudi, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar)

GCC applicants are among the closest to RAKMHSU, and GCC nationals often benefit from simpler entry/residence arrangements. Documents still generally need attestation.

Every case differs — admissions confirms exactly what you need. Call +971 50 487 5530.

Step by step

Your document & attestation route

1
Check entry requirements early
Health-sciences programs generally expect a strong science background (Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Maths). Confirm current cut-offs and any entrance test/interview with admissions.
2
Prepare & attest documents
Documents issued outside the UAE generally need attestation: home Ministry of Education & MoFA → UAE embassy in that country → UAE MoFA. Ask whether a UAE MoE equivalency (Muadala) is required.
3
Residence status — a key difference
GCC citizens generally do NOT need a UAE student residence VISA (they use national ID/passport and register locally). GCC residents who are not GCC nationals normally DO need a student VISA — usually university-sponsored after admission. Confirm your exact category.
4
Arrival, housing & formalities
Arrange travel, accommodation and health insurance. Students on a sponsored VISA complete medical fitness and Emirates ID; GCC nationals may still need local registration.
Documents to prepare
Valid passport (and national ID for GCC nationals) + photographs
High-school certificate & transcripts (or degree & transcripts for graduate)
Attested certificates and UAE MoE equivalency if required
Any required entrance-test / English-proficiency evidence
Language

Taught in English; you may need to demonstrate English proficiency (e.g. IELTS/TOEFL), with possible waivers for English-medium backgrounds.
