Applying to RAKMHSU from Bangladesh & Sri Lanka

Certificates usually need attestation through a chain of authorities at home and then by the UAE, and non-English documents need certified English translations.

Every case differs — admissions confirms exactly what you need. Call +971 50 487 5530.

Step by step

Your document & attestation route

1
Prepare original documents
Collect originals (secondary/higher-secondary certificates & marksheets for undergraduate; degree & transcripts for graduate). Check names, dates and grades are consistent and match your passport — mismatches are the most common cause of delay.
2
Home-country attestation
Certificates are attested by the issuing board/university and relevant government body, then legalised by your Ministry of Foreign Affairs (in Bangladesh, education board → Ministry of Education → MoFA; in Sri Lanka, the relevant authority → MoFA).
3
UAE Embassy / Consulate
After the home MoFA stamp, have the documents attested by the UAE mission serving Bangladesh or Sri Lanka.
4
Complete attestation inside the UAE
Certificates commonly need a final UAE MoFA attestation and, where applicable, UAE Ministry of Education recognition. The university can advise which in-country steps apply.
5
Certified translation & equivalency
Non-English documents need a certified legal English/Arabic translation. An equivalency/recognition certificate may be required — ask admissions which documents and when.
