The Vice President of Research and Postgraduate Studies provides strategic leadership, while the following specialised offices and units provide operational support:

Interdisciplinary Research Committee, A specialised body responsible for formulating policies, directing strategies, evaluating the current state of research, proposing development pathways, organising capacity-building workshops, and recommending the formation of interdisciplinary research teams aligned with RAKMHSU's research priorities.
2. 2. Office of Research & Postgraduate Studies, Oversees the management and coordination of interdisciplinary research projects across all four colleges, providing strategic alignment with ISR criteria and UAE national research priorities.
3. 3. Interdisciplinary Research Funding and Support Unit, Provides consultations on grant applications and funding strategies, supporting faculty in securing research income from national (UAEU, ADEK) and international (WHO, EU Horizon) funding sources.
4. 4. Research Partnerships and Scientific Collaboration Office, Facilitates local and international research partnerships, manages MoU-based collaborations, and enhances cooperation among RAKMHSU researchers, UAE institutions, and global academic partners.
5. 5. Scientific Publishing and Research Communication Unit, Supports researchers in preparing and publishing interdisciplinary work in Scopus-indexed and THE ISR-eligible journals, while managing RAKMHSU's research visibility through Google Scholar and Scopus profiles.
6. 6. Electronic Research Management Systems, Integrated digital platforms for monitoring, documenting, and analysing research projects, tracking output metrics, and maintaining compliance with institutional research standards.
7. 7. Research Ethics and Institutional Review Board, Ensures adherence to ethical and research standards in all interdisciplinary projects, with particular attention to clinical research, animal studies (CARF), and human subject research involving patient data.
8. 8. Research Training and Capacity Building Unit, Provides workshops, training courses, and faculty development programmes to build interdisciplinary research skills and foster cross-disciplinary academic collaboration at RAKMHSU.
9. 9. Research Performance Evaluation Unit, Monitors and analyses the quality and impact of interdisciplinary research through performance indicators, citation rates (FWCI), international collaboration metrics, and ISR-relevant bibliometric analysis.
10. 10. College Research Committees (RAKCOMS, RAKCODS, RAKCOP, RAKCON), Guide, organise, and coordinate interdisciplinary publishing within and beyond the university, ensuring integrated research efforts across all health sciences colleges.
