Mission: RAKMHSU leads interdisciplinary research in the UAE by cultivating an inspiring environment that bridges its health sciences colleges with allied scientific disciplines, facilitates collaboration, promotes excellence in publishing, and forges strategic partnerships, all aimed at generating novel knowledge and developing innovative healthcare solutions aligned with UAE Vision 2031.

1. 1. Establish and develop interdisciplinary research initiatives anchored in Medical and Health Sciences, extending to Life Sciences, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, and Social Sciences.
2. 2. Allocate sustainable internal funding for joint interdisciplinary research projects across RAKMHSU's four colleges and their affiliated hospitals.
3. 3. Integrate interdisciplinary methodologies into postgraduate research programs in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing.
4. 4. Form multidisciplinary research teams that leverage RAKMHSU's research centres, TMRC and CARF, as platforms for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
5. 5. Support high-quality publication in reputable international interdisciplinary journals, with emphasis on journals indexed in THE's ISR framework.
6. 6. Enhance international and local research collaboration with UAE universities, MOH hospitals, Sheikh Khalifa Hospitals, and global academic partners.
7. 7. Establish partnerships with pharmaceutical, medical device, and technology industries to apply research outcomes in practical clinical settings.
8. 8. Offer interdisciplinary workshops and seminars through the CME and SIDC platforms to foster a culture of cross-disciplinary thinking.
