A highly skilled medical experts that work at the RAKMHSU-HWC is include doctors, psychologists, counselors, and registered nurses. They are committed to provide holistic healthcare to promote the health and wellbeing of students through early detection and intervention.
On-Campus Students Health Support Services
RAKMHSU-HWC is an on campus students health support services that offers comprehensive and conveniently accessible healthcare. The RAKMHSU HWC provides a variety of resources related to physical, psychological health, and wellness to meet the various requirements of RAKMHSU students’ health support services. RAKMHSU-HWC referes students to RAK hospital, and RAKMHSU has made insurance mandatory for all students for better access to healthcare.
Scope of Services
Provide physical and psychological regular health check up among RAKMHSU students
Assess physical and psychological and provide health education based on their needs
Maintain physical and psychological health records
Provide first aid management and psychological counselling
Refer students to the RAK hospital or specialist based on their health needs.

“From Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.”

The RAKMHSU HWC Offers Physical and psychological assessments, consultation, and referral services to promote:
A general practitioner gathering information, assessing students before referring to a specialist, and communicating effectively, professionally, and sensitively with students.
Confidential Counseling Sessions
The Student Counselor offers confidential counseling sessions for addressing emotional and psychological issues by providing information and guidance. On-campus students health support services provides customized services that address particular health and disability issues as well as considerations for minority students.
Drop-In Advising
In the event of an urgent concern, students are welcome to walk in without an appointment; otherwise they can dial the number below to meet with the counselor. After the initial consultation, students can anticipate a follow-up from the counselor on his/her concern.
Support Center for Minority Group
RAKMHSU-HWC is dedicated to the well-being of its students, and part of that commitment is offering support to targeted underrepresented individuals (e.g. minority group). Recognizing the various health requirements of the diverse cultures and disabilities RAKMHSU student populations, the on-campus student healthcare services are made to be both inclusive and culturally competent.
