All the students are assigned Academic Advisors after admission to the programs. In case of any academic/psychologic/emotional issues, the advisors can fill in the early alert form on the University Management System/Academic Advising Portal and refer the students to the Counsellor. The Counselling Centre, Office of Students Affairs includes a full time Student Counsellor, with Master degree in Psychology. The counsellor conducts individual and group counselling sessions for any academic/psychological/mental/emotional issues. In addition to one-on-one interaction with the students, special psychological test forms are used to assess the condition. Students may also be referred to Psychiatrist (Adjunct Professor) for further assessment and medical treatment if the need arises. In addition, a new service was added to the Students Portal where students can request emergency help and schedule emergency appointments with the Academic Advisor or the Counsellor.
