RAK Medical and Health Sciences University is First Medical University in the UAE to Obtain Five Stars in QS Stars Rating     College of Pharmacy at RAK Medical and Health Sciences University has obtained dual national and international accreditation for its Bachelor of Pharmacy program from the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA)     All Programs are accredited by Ministry of Education, UAE.    All our programs are recognized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

RAKCODS BDS program has a total of 201 Credits Hours.

The curriculum has 82.58% applied courses as per the details provided in the Study Plan. Combined clinical practicum and clinical simulation hours are included in academic credit with the following details:

  • Clinical Simulation (Preclinical) Hours = 450 Contact Hours
  • Clinical Practicum Patient-Facing = 1,659 Clinical Hours

Graduation Requirements:

To be eligible for graduation, the student must satisfy each of the following requirements:

  • Complete the 201 credit hours as per the BDS Curriculum
  • Satisfactorily full filled all the academic requirements
  • Obtained pass grades in all courses of the program with minimum CGPA of 2.00, and
  • Met all financial obligations to the University within the time specified.
