RAKCOP is one of the pioneering pharmacy colleges in the United Arab Emirates under Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU). It offers internationally aligned, practice-based programs combining clinical, industrial, and community pharmacy experiences. The programs emphasize research, innovation, and interprofessional learning to prepare competent, ethical, and globally employable pharmacists.

Yes. All programs are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), Ministry of Education, UAE, and are benchmarked against the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE, USA) standards.

RAKCOP offers three degree programs:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
  • Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Pharmacy and in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Technology / Medicinal Chemistry)
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Students undergo practical training in Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital, Ibrahim Bin Hamad Obaidullah Hospital, Saqr Hospital and Fujairah Hospital. Industrial exposure is provided at Julphar Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries and community pharmacies. The college also houses advanced laboratories for pharmaceutics, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, and clinical research.

Yes. RAKCOP has collaborations with international universities such as the University of Palermo (Italy) and the University of Bath (UK), providing research, exchange, and global presentation opportunities.

Yes. RAKMHSU provides safe, separate hostel accommodation for male and female students, and university transportation from major cities such as Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Fujairah.

Yes. The university offers merit-based scholarships, sibling discounts, and assistantships for MSc and PhD students involved in teaching or research activities.
