Clinical experience for BSN

Based on the reformation done for the BSN program by CAA, MOE, UAE, the first two-year students get their clinical experience in the simulated lab. In the first year of the program itself, the students begins the course foundation of nursing practice with practical experience in the simulated lab settings. In the second year, the program expands to include working with both healthy people and those experiencing acute illness; increasingly complex situations; and engages in experience that demonstrates interconnection of hospital and community care and is provided in the highly simulated setting in clinical skill lab. In the third and fourth years of the program, students have an opportunity to learn advanced concepts and more specialized skills in caring for individuals experiencing complex health challenges in both hospital and community settings. It focuses on professional growth and responsibility to contribute to the development of health care through leadership.

In the first semester after two weeks of theory classes, the clinical experience will begin in the hospital settings. In the second year, the program extends to community care, evidence based practice and leadership training in the hospital.
