Compassionate, Evidence-Based Nursing Education
RAK College of Nursing (RAKCON) has been at the forefront of nursing education since establishing its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program in 2006. It has since expanded with Master of Science in Nursing specializations, a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery and Post Graduate Diploma programs.
All of RAKCON’s programs are re-accredited by the MOHESR, and its graduates are recognized for their contributions to healthcare leadership across the UAE. Student learning is supported by state-of-the-art simulation labs, faculty mentorship, research opportunities and clinical placements with leading healthcare institutions.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to RAK College of Nursing (RAKCON) at RAK Medical and Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU). Whether you are considering joining us, continuing your studies, reconnecting as an alumnus, or exploring a partnership, we are delighted to welcome you to our academic community. Here, academic excellence, compassion, and a commitment to service guide our approach to preparing nursing and midwifery professionals for practice in Ras Al Khaimah, the UAE, the Gulf region, and beyond.
RAKCON offers seven nursing and midwifery pathways: the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Midwifery, Master of Science in Nursing, three postgraduate diploma programs in nursing, and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. Our master’s specializations encompass Adult Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing. Our postgraduate diploma programs focus on Adult Health Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, and Emergency Care Nursing. Together, these pathways support professional development through a strong theoretical foundation, diverse clinical experience, evidence-based practice, research, and leadership development.
